Slip cut from a yellow-dyed swan or goose secondary feather. Bright, durable, and marries cleanly to other quill slips. A staple wing component for classic salmon flies including Jock Scott, Silver Doctor, and Durham Ranger. Goose is more widely available today; swan was specified in the originals.
